Student Mediation Services at Utah Tech University

Welcome to Utah Tech University’s Student Mediation Services, a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL resource designed to help students navigate conflict in a respectful, supportive, and solutions-focused environment.

What We Offer

Our trained mediators assist with a wide range of student conflicts, including:

· Roommate and housing disputes

· Interpersonal or friendship conflicts

· Student relationship breakups or divorces

· Group project or team disagreements

· Communication breakdowns

· Misunderstandings or ongoing tensions

· Club, organization, or classroom conflicts

· Contract and Financial issues

Mediation is voluntary, neutral, and entirely student-driven.

How the Mediation Process Works

1. Reach out to request a mediation or ask questions.

2. A mediator will contact you to discuss your situation.

3. If all parties agree, a mediation session is scheduled.

4. Mediators guide a structured conversation where students create their own agreements.
