Tamron has worked in higher education for over 15 years and is passionate about helping students succeed. In addition to his work in the Dean of Student’s Office, he teaches Marketing courses for the Utah Tech College of Business. He graduated from Dixie State University with a bachelor’s degree before going on to earn an MBA, and then a DBA with a marketing emphasis. As a Dean of Students, his priority is student success and accountability. He will always advocate for students and promote initiatives that improve student engagement and success.
On a personal note, Tamron grew up in Washington, Utah, is an avid DIY’er, and lifelong learner. His most recent projects were building a teardrop camping trailer with rivets and sheet metal, and converting a playhouse into a chicken coup. He has lived overseas in both Czechia and Shanghai, China. He is also a big fan of everything outdoors. His most recent backpacking trip was a 3,000 foot climb up the South-West face of Pine-Valley Mountain. He is married, has 4 kids, all teenagers, 1 dog, 1 cat, and 12 chickens.
